Marjorie Jean (Vivian) Gillingham passed away at James Paton Memorial Hospital on
December 13th, 2021 in the presence of her loving family. She will be missed by so many who
knew and loved her.
She was predeceased by her parents Maisie and Jasper Vivian; brothers: Reginald, Roland,
Ernest, Eliol; sisters: Winnie, Delsie, Joyce; special friends: Gladys, Audrey, Shirley and her
precious dog Maddie.
Left with very loving memories are her husband of 53 years Basil Gillingham; sons: Jarrod,
Richard; daughter Linda (Randy) Hodder; grandsons: Brent, Tristen, Jayden; granddaughter
Brittany (Frazer) Snow; special great grandsons: Jacob (Sweetie Bug), Caleb; brothers: Lester
(Marjorie), Arthur (Yetta), Scott; sister Clara Hodder; sister in law Lorraine, also a large circle of
nieces (special niece Juanita), nephews, relatives and friends.
Family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to staff at Gander Pharmachoice, Dr. Nahabet &
his team at James Paton Memorial Hospital.
Resting at Riverside United Church, George’s Point with funeral service Saturday December
18th at 2:00pm. Interment at United Church Cemetery, George’s Point.
Donations can be made to Riverside United Church in memory of Marjorie.
Vaccine Passports are required to enter church.
