Marjorie’s Obituary
LeBLANC, Marjorie Gertrude – age 92, The Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, July 23, 2021 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born December 13, 1928 in Windsor, NS, she was a daughter of the late Lorne and Clara (Gallagher) Mosher. Marjorie was a homemaker and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary, Branch No. 61, Yarmouth with whom she enjoyed catering. She is survived by her children, James (Sharon) LeBlanc, Yarmouth; Lorne (Deborah) LeBlanc, Toronto; Pauline (Robert) Barlow, Yarmouth; Paul LeBlanc Jr., Wolfville; David LeBlanc, Yarmouth; Diane Boudreau (Lee MacLean), Donna Nickerson (Kevin), both of Yarmouth; Darryl LeBlanc (Patricia Crowell), Argyle; daughters-in-law, Faye LeBlanc, Yarmouth and Lea LeBlanc, Windsor, NS, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Ella Goddard, Halifax. Aside from her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Paul Vincent “Tommy”; sons, John LeBlanc and Clarence LeBlanc; a daughter, Betty Hayes; grandsons, Sean Nickerson and David Smith, as well as by four brothers and two sisters. Visitation will take place from 2-4 and 7 to 9 on Tuesday at H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth prayers at 8 p.m. All visitors are asked to please use only the parking lot entrance. Please note that in keeping with Covid-19 regulations, social distancing guidelines must be followed and masks are required. A funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, July 28 at 2:00 p.m. from Saint Ambrose Co-Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Pat O’Meara officiating. Again, due to Covid protocols, seating will be limited at the church – please phone Huskilson’s Funeral Home (902-742-3626) to reserve seating at the church. Interment to follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. It has been requested that there be family flowers only. A small gathering will follow at her son Jimmy’s home, 11 Haley Road, Yarmouth. Memorial donations may be made to the Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Help Fund or to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
