Marion Shirley Pridmore 1933 2021

Obituary of Marion Shirley Pridmore
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Shirley Pridmore, much beloved wife, mother and friend. After a brief illness Shirley died on Sept. 22, with her husband and daughter at her side.
Born in England, Shirley emigrated to Canada in 1967 with her young family. Once settled in Saskatoon, she led a full and busy life. As a member of the Registered Music Teachers’ Association Shirley taught piano and theory to many young Saskatoon musicians. She was also active in the University Women’s Club, the historic Gustin House, and at St. John’s Cathedral, where she took part in the musical, liturgical, and social life of the church community. Even though her health was affected by a childhood bout with polio, Shirley did not let that slow her down. She was one tough lady!
Shirley leaves her beloved husband Peter, and her daughter Ruth (David Seaman) of Harrogate, UK and daughter Helen (Lorne Altman) of Saskatoon; plus many relatives in England and countless friends in Saskatoon. There will be a Celebration of Life in the future, when it is safe to gather together again.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Marion
