It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Marion Murphy of Parker’s Cove announces her passing. Marion passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at the age of 73.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her; daughter, Elaine Jackman (Colin) of Creston South and granddaughter, Emily Jackman; but she was a “mother” to many children with a special place in her heart for Blair Murphy, Cathy Hayse, and Barry Pardy; sister, Mary Hayse (Randall); brothers, John (Cecilia) and Thomas (Madeline); special thanks to her homecare workers, Raylynn Murphy, Karen Jones, and Theresa Murphy; plus a large number of family and friends.
Marion was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Murphy; parents, Albert and Suzanna Murphy; sisters, Mercedes Pardy (Edward), and Hilda Gaulton (Leonard); baby sister, Madeline; brothers, Charlie (Ella-May), Pius (Mary Ann), Kevin (Elsie) and Raymond (Kitty).
The Murphy Family will be accepting visitors at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Parker’s Cove on Monday, August 30th from 3-9pm, rosary will be 7pm with a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 at 2pm.
Interment will follow at Roman Catholic Cemetery, Parker’s Cove.
In Marion’s memory donations may be made to The Murphy Family, please no flowers as per request of the family.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Wiseman’s Funeral Homes – Marystown.
