Marion Lou Rudd, 87, of St. Marys passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
She was born in South Easthope Township, Perth County at Flanagan’s Corner on December 18, 1933 a daughter of the late David and Margaret (Schaefer) Meadows. She was a member of North Nissouri United Church, North Nissouri United Church Women and St. Marys Friendship Centre.
She married Donald Ernest Rudd at Stratford on November 26, 1955. He predeceased her on March 8, 2010.
Marion is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Lynn Rudd; two sisters, Dolores Headon and Carol Bradley; nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Elwood and Carol Meadows; her brother, David Meadows (in infancy); her brother-in-law, Gordon Headon.
Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where a private funeral service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021. The Rev. Bob Heywood will officiate. Interment will follow in Dorchester Union Cemetery.
