Obituary
O’TOOLE, Marion Helen (nee: Young) Passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021, just shy of her 100th birthday. Marion was the beloved wife of the late Gerry O’Toole (former owner of Gerry’s Cigar Store) and loving and devoted mother of Joan Temple and mother-in-law of Jeff Temple. Cherished Grandmother of Matthew (Jessica), Michael (Heather), and Mark (Chelsea) and Great Grandmother of Aedan, Lizzie, Rylie, Jameson and Colton. Remembered lovingly by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret Conlin and Loretta Patrick, and her brother Charles Young. Also, predeceased by Gerry’s siblings; Florence, Bernard, Lawrence, Clement and Lillian. Daughter of the late William Young and Nora Anglesey. Marion was a long-time parishioner of St. Peter’s Cathedral, Member of the Catholic Women’s League, and Volunteer with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
A Private Family Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Highland Park Funeral Centre on Friday, April 9th at 1:00 pm, with Fr. Andrew Begin officiating.
