At his home on Sunday August 1st, 2021 in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Ilda Avelar (nee Resendes). Loving father of Anthony Joseph Avelar (Josie) and Maria Christina Avelar (Sergio Deponte). Dear grandfather of Jacob, Isabella and Lucas. Brother of Joe Avelar (Larinda) and the late Manuel Avelar (Goretti). Friends are invited to attend visiting at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East, Cobourg on Thursday August 5th, 2021 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Michael’s Church, Cobourg on Thursday August 5th at 2 pm (Everyone must wear a mask and social distance for both events). Interment in Cobourg Union Cemetery. If desired donations may be made to SickKids Foundation.
