Wathen (Reid), Marilyn Anne
The passing of Marilyn (MAW) of Fredericton NB, wife of Bill, occurred on September 20,2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.
Marilyn was born on September 6, 1952 in Holtville, NB. She was the daughter of the late Arnold and Eileen (Gibson) Reid.
Marilyn held various positions within her 28-year career with CIBC, and retired as Bank Manager in Fredericton. After retirement, she volunteered with the Red Cross and CNIB. A couple of years later, she decided to return to the workforce with her amazing skills, and was offered a position with the Provincial Government in Financial Services.
Marilyn is survived by her sisters Janice Hashey (David), Brenda Peterson (Ivan) and Norma MaGee (Dan); her brother Jim Reid (Bobbie); sister-in-law Wendy Reid. She was predeceased by her brother Rick Reid.
Marilyn was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed watching baseball, basketball, and hockey. She especially loved the Toronto Blue Jays.
