1934-2021
At the CHSLD of Matapédia on Wednesday, June
23rd, 2021, at the age of 86, passed away Mrs.
Mariette Lagacé of Matapédia, wife of the late
Roméo Parent. she was the daughter of the late Bertha
Arsenault and the late Napoléon
Lagacé.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Blandine (late
Robert Beaulieu) of St-André-de-Restigouche, Aliette
(Michel Deschênes) of St-André-de-Restigouche,
Marina (Ghislain Poirier) of Sorel, Nicolas (Barbara Charest) of
Rimouski, Marie-France of l’Ile
d’Orléans and Marie (Bruno Francoeur) of
Matapédia; her 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren;
her sister Claire (Ferdinand Parent) of Matapédia also by
many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Roméo Parent,
her parents, her grandson Maxime, Philippe Moreau, and her brothers
and sisters: Louis, René, Antonio, Gilberte and
Aline.
The funeral mass will be held on Saturday morning, July
3rd at 11:00 am in the St-Laurent Church,
Matapedia. All hours have been expressed on Quebec
time.
The family would like to thank all the staff of the CHSLD for
their human approach and excellent care. A special thank you to
Hélène and Mélanie for the special
attention to their grandma.
Any expressions of sympathy can be translated into a donation
to the Alzheimer Society.
