Obituary of Marie Shute
Shute, Marie – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie (Henderson) Shute, peacefully in her sleep, on December 31, 2020, in her 74th year. Predeceased by the love of her life, Albert Shute (April 1989). Marie will be lovingly remembered by her 2 sons Darryl Shute and Allen Shute (Amy), grandsons Joshua and Jacob, her younger brother Ralph Henderson (Debbie), and special sister-in-law Millie Caldwell.
At the centre of her world were her grandsons Josh and Jake. She enjoyed every minute she spent with them. We are so thankful for the wonderful memories of Grandma they share.
Everyone who knew Marie knew that she loved Elvis. From the moment she laid eyes on him as a young girl, from his music to his movies, she could not get enough!
Marie was a member at the Ontario Street Church of Christ and enjoyed the friendship of the ladies. Their cards, visits and kind words over the years were much appreciated.
Marie enjoyed her time living at the Kiwanis Apartments and had many friends there. She loved being so close to the Fairview Mall (and the jewellery store and Northern Reflections…lol) and often walked over daily to pick up groceries or get a cup of coffee.
Special thanks to the Staff at Radiant Care – Tabor Manor for their outstanding care. Your compassion and dedication allowed her to enjoy her life and gave us great peace of mind that she was well taken care of. This means more than you know.
Marie will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
A private family service will be held at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Marie
