Peacefully
with family by her side, the passing of Marie Myrtle MacLean age 85,
of Belfast, loving wife of the late John Hector MacLean, occurred on
Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge.
Born in Wood Island, May 10, 1936, daughter of the late Artimus and
Mabel (Mosher) Acorn. Survived by children, Debbie Nicholson, Blair
MacLean and Darlene MacKinnon; sisters and brothers, Jennie MacLean,
Laura Compton, Mildred MacLean, Ella (Rollie) Langley, Thelma (Wayne)
Bell, Lewis Acorn and Alfie (Velma) Acorn; cherished grandchildren,
Tracy, Natalia, Jacob, Carson and Jada; adored great grandchildren,
Jordan, Jonathan, Noah and Eden; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by son-in-law, Donnie Nicholson; brothers, Buddy and
Eddie; sisters, Hannah Acorn, Marjorie Sencabaugh and Josie MacLennan;
brothers-in-law, Victor Sencabaugh and Clarence MacLean; Grandson
Daniel; great grandchildren, Cole, Logan, Eve and Sammy.
Resting at Ferguson Logan
Montague Funeral Home, with a Private Family Funeral. Interment to
take place in the Belfast Cemetery. Online condolences may be made
