Age 83, Cheticamp. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Dorine passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, November 4, 2021, in Foyer Père Fiset Guest Home, Cheticamp. Dorine was a daughter of the late Maggie (Camus) Muise. She is survived by sons, Stanley (Geraldine), Leo (Susan), Roger (Brenda), Robert (Yvette), and Hayden (Barb); daughters, Marie Stella (Sam), Linda (Allister), Nancy, and Madeleine (Peter); daughter-in-law, Dauphine Camus; brother, Lionel Muise; sister, Blondine Muise; 19 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, Pierre Louis Larade, she was predeceased by her son, Michael; daughters, Elizabeth and Odette; brothers, Amedee John Muise and Arthur Muise; sister, Corrine LeBrun; sons-in-law, Mickey Miller, and George MacLeod; grandson, Allan Peter Burton.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the Cheticamp Funeral Home, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and proof of vaccination will be required. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Cheticamp.
Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Hospital Palliative Care.
