Age 98, Chéticamp, passed away on Monday, November 1st, 2021, at the Foyer Père Fiset Guest Home, Chéticamp. Marie Cecile was the daughter to the late Joseph Boudreau and the late Lina (Deveau) Aucoin.
Marie Cecile was a stay at home Mom who always had time for her children and grandchildren. For many years she loved volunteering at “Le P’tit Woolco” and the Foyer Père Fiset (Recreation Department). Her love was extra special for her great-grandson, Conner, who called her G.G.
Marie Cecile is survived son, Paul Joe (Aldora) Aucoin; daughters, Lucie May (Edmond) Landry, and Lina (Gerard) Larade; grandchildren, Yves, Kevin, Eric (Chantal), Joey (Carolyn), and Michael (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Learose, Nelly, Maude, Addison, and Conner; and extra special friend, Annie Rose Chiasson. Besides her husband, John Joe, Marie Cecile was predeceased by her sons, Tommy and Albert; brother, Joseph Athanase Boudreau; sisters, Oliva Aucoin, Domithilde Aucoin, and Gelina Aucoin.
A funeral service (for family and friends only) will be held at the Chéticamp Funeral Home on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 4:00 PM with Deacon Gerald LeBlanc officiating. Burial to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Chéticamp. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, masks are required to attend the service.
Donations may be made to Foyer Père Fiset Recreation Department.
