Obituary
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Marie Burry, age 87 years, of Boyd’s Cove, NL announce her peaceful passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Monday, February 1, 2021.
She is predeceased by her husband Harold Burry, parents Charles & Phoebe Head, brothers George & Levi Head and sister Lucy LeDrew.
Left with fond and loving memories are her children Calvert (Velma) Burry, Shirley (Otto) Burt, Sterling (Joy) Burry, grandchildren Colette (Mike) Holwell, Amy (Gerard) March, Corey (Cheryl) Dove, Candace (Phillip) Jennings, Chad (Shawna) Burt, Ryan Burry (Shakira Rideout), great-grandchildren Emma, Samantha, Maria, Natalie, Kalleigh, Charlotte, Leah, Kaelob, Kinley, Addison, sister Shirley Thoms, sister-in-law Mary Head, a number of nieces & nephews as well as a large circle of friends.
Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 3-5 p.m. following the Covid-19 restrictions. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the St. George’s Anglican Church, Boyd’s Cove, NL by invitation only.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie’s memory may be given to St. George’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, Boyd’s Cove, NL.
Marie’s family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL and Oram’s Bethesda Manor, Gander, NL.
