FIELDS, Marian Rose (nee Currie) – passed away peacefully in her 95th year at the Westgate Lodge Nursing Home, Belleville, Ontario on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Daughter of the late William and Gladys Currie. Loving wife of the late Graham Fields. Beloved Mother of Andrew Fields of Toronto, Marjorie Appleton (Neil) of Pennsylvania, Stephanie Maier (Geoffrey) and Nancy Fields all of Toronto. Predeceased by her brother William Currie. Mimi leaves behind 6 grandchildren Christopher (Sarah), Colin (Melissa) Leslie (Max), Allison, Scott and Jamie and 5 great grandchildren, Connor, Avery, Cora, Parker and Oliver. Mimi lived a full life of family, friends and was a long-time volunteer at the Belleville Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of numerous bridge clubs as well as a stitchery club and lived for the camaraderie all her female friends provided. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church on Thursday, November 4 at 12:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to JOHN R BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave, Belleville. The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the staff at Westgate Lodge for their excellent care over the last 4 years.
