Obituary of Maria Devald
Peacefully passed away at The Elden of Bradford on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Maria Devald (nee Eek) of the Holland Marsh at 93 years of age. Beloved wife of late Louie Devald. Loving mother of late Jack (Marie) Devald and Theresa (Alex) Makarenko. Proud Nanny of Amy (Mike) Budway, Ryan Devald; Matthew (Julie) Makarenko, Benjamin (Sharon) Makarenko, Nathan (Samantha) Makarenko and Jennesa (Dan) Apostolov. Cherished Great Nanny of Tanner, Cameron; Sydney, Jacob, Heidi, Andrew, Allison, James, Lucy, Max and Briar. Dear sister of late Gerry (late Mae) Eek and late John (Jill) Eek. Maria will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.
Private funeral service will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford followed by interment at Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford.
In Maria’s memory, donations may be made to the ALS Canada.
