Obituary of Margaret McClelland
After cancer knocking at her door yet again, Margaret Charlotte McClelland (nee Clark), on October 8th, 2021, at Chapman House, with her husband at her side, left her pain behind and joined her parents Wesley and Lottie Clark as well as multiple siblings to dance in Heaven.
Beloved wife of Norm McClelland. Loving mother to Cindy Bobet (Mel), Julie Quedzuwek (Frank), Lori Greaves (Jeff) and Todd McClelland (Sandra). Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren. Marg is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Leaney and Lorraine Waugh (Dick). She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Marg was known for her love of Sauble Beach sunsets, water fights, impromptu parties, her yummy home-made butter tarts and her care for others at home, in Florida and through her years as a PSW. As a special request from Norm, when you see a sunset, celebrate Marg.
Friends may call at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Saturday, October 16th, between 11 a.m. and 12 noon. A private funeral service will be held 1 p.m. and will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person. Interment will take place at Zion Cemetery, Hepworth. If so desired as expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Chapman House would be greatly appreciated.
