Margaret Victoria Dunn
May 24, 1924 – March 31, 2021

Dunn, Margaret Victoria
Peacefully, in hospital, on March 31, 2021 in her 97th year. Predeceased by her parents Leo and May (nee Williams) Dunn and by her siblings and their spouses, Thomas “Bud” (Peggy), Alfred (Vera), Dorothy, and James (Betty Ann). She will be greatly missed by her nephew Dale (Kikki) and niece Shelly (Eric). Marg was fortunate to remain exceptionally sharp and alert for her entire life. Always willing to offer an opinion on any topic, she was still able to discuss sports and current events right up to the end. She lived a very interesting and active work life, including 24 years at National Defence in Washington and 5 years at External Affairs in Ottawa. She retired after a posting at the UN in New York, returning to her roots on the east coast. Marg’s deep love of sports provided her with countless hours of joy, especially while watching her beloved Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Blue Jays. Thank you to all the staff at Parkland Retirement Home for their excellent care and support over the years. Our family is forever grateful to Melanie and Mary Ann for their incredible care and compassion – especially during this last year while we were unable to visit during the pandemic. Donations in Marg’s memory to the Arthritis Society of Canada would be appreciated. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Margaret Victoria Dunn May 24 1924 March 31 2021..
