Surrounded by love and in Christian Faith at Sunrise of Oakville, Margaret peacefully passed on Saturday October 16th in her 94th year. She was a devoted wife of Alexander for 44 years, until his passing in September 2001. Always a dearly loved mother of Margaret Elizabeth and her husband Anthony Cericola, and cherished Grandmother of Michael and Elizabeth.
Margaret was born in Lestock, Saskatchewan on May 23rd 1927 and later moved to Hamilton where she met her husband, Alex. Together they shared their passion for gardening, The Blue Jays and cooking.
Margaret’s family would like to thank the kind and caring staff of Sunrise for their devotion to our mother for the past seven years.
A funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church 89 Dunn St. Oakville on Thursday October 21, 2021 at 11:00am followed by interment at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by Margaret’s family.
