Peacefully on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Bluewater Health, Peggy passed away at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Peel. Loving mother of Karen (John) Cooke, Valerie Bulloch, and Vivian (Billy) Morrison. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (John) Oliver, Michael (Stacey) Bulloch, Christopher Cooke (Margaret Billings), Andrew Morrison, Anne Cooke, and Janice Morrison. Treasured great-grandmother of Jaime, Jordan, Benjamin, Owen, Claire, and Ella. Dear sister of Jean McQuarrie. Remembered lovingly by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Agnes McQuarrie and by her siblings Kenneth, Neil, Gwen, Murray and Dan. Peggy grew up in Oaklake, MB. She attended nurses training in Brandon, MB. Upon marriage, she moved to Norland, ON, where they farmed. They later moved to Bolton, ON where she worked as a medical secretary and as an RNA. In her later years, Peggy was involved with Bolton United Church. Peggy loved to travel, socialize with friends and keep in touch with her family. She loved being a Grandma. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and extended family. A special thank you to all the people who cared for and supported Peggy. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
