It is with great sadness we share the news of the peaceful
passing on September 17th, after a life well lived, of Margaret Mary
Doyle (nee Ness) of Charlottetown, at Provincial Palliative Care
Centre, with family at her side. Born in Glasgow, Scotland March 6,
1934 to Michael (Mick) and Bridget Ness (nee McDaid). Survived by
children Margie MacNeill (Leo Handregan), Willie (Germaine), Paula
Benjamin (Joey Toombs), Karen Wightman (Roger), Russell (Megan Horton)
Ottawa. Grandchildren Michael MacNeill (Tina) Sudbury, Anthony
Benjamin, Kenny Lingley (Chanelle Bellamy), Robert Lingley, Abigail
and Ashton, Ottawa; great grandchildren Dana MacNeill, Alex MacNeill,
Don Michael, and Theo Lingley. Also survived by siblings Michael, Dave
(Pat), Elizabeth (John McCurdy) (all of Halifax) and Paul (Christine
Thibaudierness) and extended family. Predeceased by her parents
Bridget and Michael Ness, husbands Russell Doyle(1975) and Ivan
Sullivan (1998).
Also predeceased by brothers Willie and Robert Ness,
granddaughter Melissa MacNeill, step daughters Sandra Doyle and
Roberta Matthew, Ajax, and stepmother Moira Ness.
Resting at Hennessy Cutcliffe Funeral Home, visitation by
invitation only Wednesday, September 22nd from 4-7 pm, funeral Mass on
Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Cornwall by invitation only
at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Queen
Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or the Provincial Palliative Care
Centre.
