Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Pleasant View Towers where she had resided for 3 1/2 years. Family members and friends were with her to hold her hands and speak kind words as she passed away.Family who lived with her and friends who knew her were fortunate to see her beautiful nature, her mischievous and impish side, her wicked sense of humour, her love of small animals especially grey cats and small dogs. She loved to play board games especially Trouble, jigsaw puzzles she was brilliant at, colouring books, and berry picking (the cleanest picker ever!). Also she loved music and dancing! And eating (especially Mary Brown’s and KFC!). She was in her glory when surrounded by family and friends, she would stay up all night as long as there was socializing going on. She leaves to mourn her brother Bernard, sister-in-law Shelley Bryan; her sisters: Marie Haynes (Bob), Anna Hong (Don), Nora Penney (Steve), Mary Roblin, and Pauline Moon; nieces: Dahna, Valerie, Janet, Raylene, Elaina, Jennifer and Adrienne; nephews: Blair, Geoffrey, Jason, Derrick, Nick, Barry, Jared, Simon and Gabriel. Also a wide circle of friends especially Lorraine Cox, Lori Thorne, Mary and Francis Chafe, Victoria Silk, Laura Chafe, Lisa Morrissey Crane, Jude and Don Quiqley and many others who have loved her and cared for her. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday, February 1, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre on Topsail Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Down Syndrome Society or Heavenly Creatures.
