Margaret “Loverne” Lougheed (nee Tracey) passed away peacefully to her heavenly home at Campbell House Hospice on Monday February 8, 2021. Loverne was the loving wife of the late Kenneth Lougheed (2006) and married for over 58 years. She is survived by her children Wanda (Kevin) Walt, Brenda (Ron) Lougheed, Wayne (Sue) Lougheed, Heather (2014) Ron Lane, Darryl (Laura) Lougheed and Evonne (Don) Vail. Loving grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 great grandson. Loverne is also survived by her brother Oliver (Pauline) Tracey, sisters Marilyn (David) Bendell, Shirley (Norman) Nobes and many nieces and nephews. Her family will gather for a Memorial Service on Wednesday February 24, 2021 at 11a.m., on her 91st birthday, at Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood. The ceremony will be live streamed on the Chatterson YouTube Channel, starting at 10:50a.m. Remembrances of Loverne may be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House, Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation, GBHS Humane Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by her family.
