We, the family of Margaret Elizabeth “Liz” (Wrathall) Pitchuck, regret to announce her peaceful passing at home on Monday, December 13, 2021.
Born September, 7, 1947, in Sydney, she was the only daughter of the late Stephen and Alma (O’Brien) Wrathall.
Margaret is survived by her sons, Richard (Wendy), with whom she resided in Moncton, NB and Herbie (Laurie), Sydney; daughters, Wanda (Alex) LeBlanc, Shelly (Mike) Johnston and Carol (Ronnie) Mackay, all of Sydney; grandchildren, Joey, Lisa, Cidney, Tyler, Leanne, Jessica, Kyle, Shayne, John Martin, Brittney and Craig; and 14 great-grandchildren. Margaret is also survived by her brothers, Norman (Dianne) Wrathall and Allan (Marie) Wrathall, Sydney and Harry (Pauline)Wrathall, Halifax.
Besides her parents, Liz was predeceased by her husband, Joseph “Dickie” Pitchuck and brothers, Walter and Alex Wrathall.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Lamey officiating. Covid-19 protocols will be followed. Proof of double vaccination, ID and masks are mandatory.
