Margaret Davis (nee Larke)
Margaret passed in her 75th year due to complications arising from a blood clot on April 10, 2021. She was the first-born child of predeceased parents, John & Jeannie Larke (nee Craighead) of the Kitchener area on September 12, 1946, also predeceased by brother Guy (Terry) Larke of Kuala Lumpur. Survived by sisters Pamela (Scott) Pearson of Oregon, Ruth (Tom) Schickler of Sarnia and brother Tim Larke of Kitchener.
Married just shy of 57yrs on her 18th birthday to John (Jack) Davis of Nephton, settled in the greater Warsaw metropolitan area. A proud Domestic Engineer and loving mother to – John (Julie) Davis of Ennismore, Debbie (Stephen) Murdock of Barrie and Jackie (Daryl) Davis of Havelock. “Nan” cherished every moment with & will be forever remembered by her grandchildren Olivia, Spencer, Hillary, Jordan, Samantha, Justun, Kyle, Alicea & great grandchildren Leah, Cayleigh, Holly, Bailie & Waylon.
A huge shout out to 6th floor nurses Sara & Kate, Palliative Care nurses Jillian & Emily and Dr. Mallory of the PRHC who made her final days both dignified and comfortable.
A celebration of life is currently being planned for Saturday August 14th between 2 and 5pm at the Lakefield Curling Club located at 12 Nicholls St.
