Margaret’s Obituary
CAMERON, Margaret Kathleen – 69, of Dayton (Formerly of Lockeport) passed away peacefully on January 25, 2021 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital with family by her side. She was a daughter of Vernon and Dorothy (Williams) Mackenzie. Margaret was a beloved, wife, daughter, mother, sister and grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Family meant everything to her and consisted of making sure they were all cared for and ensuring there was a life full of memories left for her family to hold on to. She enjoyed her gospel singing at the nearby campground and Christmas was a very special time for Margaret.
Survived by her mother, Dorothy MacKenzie, husband, Lloyd Cameron, children; Richard (Susan) Cameron and Noelle (Wayde) Wolfe, brother, Kenneth (Sue) Mackenzie, sister, Jane (Robert) Mackenzie, grandchildren; Maegan, Valerie, Ethan, Landon, Rowan, Luna, Elora and Scarlette, nieces; Abby, Sophie (Kyle), and great-niece, Claire.
She was predeceased by her father Vernon Mackenzie.
Arrangements are under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home in Shelburne. A Memorial service will take place at the Huskilson’s Funeral Chapel in Shelburne on Friday January 29th at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tim Garren officiating. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, masks are to be worn and social distancing will be in effect. Family flowers only please.
Donations in her name can be placed to the Yarmouth Regional Hospital Dialysis Fund.
The family would like to extend thanks to the wonderful care she received at Yarmouth Regional Hospital and the Dialysis team for their compassion for Margaret.
