Margaret entered into rest at the age of 98. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Katherine, brother George and beloved companion Frances Hurley, Margaret is survived by cousin Jean Dayne, nephew Leonard Fritz, and nieces Joanne Vidulich (Lyle), Louise Fogg (Thomas) and Frances Fisher (Terry). Remembered for her sense of humour, independent spirit and no-nonsense approach to life, Margaret will be dearly missed by her adopted family – Francis, Joan and Caitlyn Greenlay, Michael Greenlay (Trish), Larry Greenlay, Pat Carr, and Tom Carr, as well by her kind and caring friends Sam, Susan, Madison and Matthew Chai. Thanks to all at Cavell Gardens for your support and friendship. A funeral mass will be held at St. Andrews, 480 East 47th Ave. in Vancouver BC on Thursday August 19/21 at 11am. Entombment to follow at Gardens of Gethsemani, 15800 32nd Ave, Surrey BC. Flowers gratefully declined in favour of donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
