Margaret’s Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend to so many, Margaret “Peggy” Fagan (nee Dinn), at the Health Sciences Centre, on Monday, January 25, 2021, at the age of 74. Peggy loved life’s simple things. She loved to cast a hook & bobber at the side of the pond, play a game of darts with friends, sit and crochet a blanket and bake a treat that everyone enjoyed. A dedicated employee of Dunne Memorial Academy School, St. Mary’s, who left many fond memories to staff and students, when she retired.
Peggy is predeceased by her parents Leo & Muriel Dinn, brother Alex Dinn, sister Bride Dalton, parents-in-laws Leo & Gert Fagan; sisters-in-law: Kay Dinn, Mary Lou Dinn and Jean Dinn and nephew Baby Dalton.
Peggy will forever be missed by her loving husband of 33 years, Don Fagan, her daughter Leola and son-in-law Adamo Biancini; her grandsons, who were her pride and joy: Alessandro, Zackary, Luka and Gabriel Biancini. She will also be sadly missed by her siblings Hubert Dinn (Netta), Jack Dinn (Sharon), Marion Dalton (Don), Bill Dinn (Susan), Don Dinn (Rose), Agatha Tobin, Leo Dinn (Liz); brother-in-law John Fagan (Noella), special nephew Colin Dinn (Cynthia); special nieces Yolanda Critch (Dion) and Alison Nolan (Dave); great-nieces Caitlin Boland and Alexandria Boland-Dinn (Nikko); one great-great-niece Ella, as well as many other much loved nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Special thanks to the Doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre.
In honor of Peggy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 10:00 am, at St. Joseph’s Church, St. Joseph’s, St. Mary’s Bay. Burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery and then Riverhead Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral is by invitation only. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory maybe made to the NL – Canadian Cancer Society cancer.ca/nl or Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation cancercarefoundation.ca .
