Margaret Diane Peggy Jones Saturday April 10th 2021

It is with great sadness that on Saturday, April 10, the family of Margaret Diane (Peggy) Jones announces her death at the Ottawa Hospital at the age of 75 years. She was the daughter of Milton and Solveig (Wibe) Jones and sister of Beverley (John) Relfe, Nancy Mitchell and the late Gordon. She also leaves behind three nieces Kimberley (Carmen), Shannon (Doug) and Julie (Dino) as well as great-nieces Brooke, Jessica, Paige, Alexis and Taylor and great nephews Tyler, Matthew and Joshua. Peggy worked for Foreign Affairs and had postings to the UK, to the then Soviet Union, Australia, India, Yugoslavia and Greece.
Many thanks to Ed for all his invaluable help. Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life later when COVID slows down. Donations in recognition of Peggy can be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute.

  1. Peggy was a good friend that we spent time with on our tour in India as well as having the opportunity to entertain Peggy in our home in London while she was on leave from Moscow. She was a hostess from her home and always from her heart! Such good memories of special LADY!!! Thank you Peggy for being you and keeping us all grounded!!! You will be missed.
