It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Margaret (Muriel) Cartwright née Barker, wife of the late Howard Cartwright, on December 30th, 2020, at the age of 101.
She leaves to mourn her children, Stephen (the late Ulla), Cheryl and Harvey. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren Marisa (Stephen), Meredith, Tracy (Cyril), Angela, Adam (Vanessa), and Andrew (Ashley), her great-grandchildren Ariel, Liam, Melina, Julien, Pariss, Noah, Kayla, and Dalton as well as nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Due to the pandemic a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Interment will be in the National Field of Honour, Last Post Cemetery, Pointe Claire, Qc. when conditions permit.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Lakeshore General Hospital, especially Dr. Radu Popovici, Dr. Caleb Bouhairie and nurse Jennifer for their wonderful support and care. Thank you to the IT department for Zoom meetings. Also, to her many new friends at the Cambridge and old friends in Laval West. Thank you to the CLSC and associates who cared for mom the last few years.
