CRAWFORD, Margaret Elizabeth “Betty”
Betty passed away peacefully on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Sherbrooke Community Centre at the age of 93. Betty was born in Burnham, SK to Charles and Margaret Griffin. She was raised in Swift Current, SK. She married Earl Crawford who later joined the Navy which began their moving around Canada. They settled in Saskatoon where she spent the remainder of her days. Betty was predeceased by her husband Earl and all of her brothers and sister. She is survived her children Lynn (Randy) Prues, Bill (Sheila) Crawford, Cathy (Larry) Anderson, 7 grandchidlren and 11 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Betty worked for The Hudson Bay Company for 30 years. After retirement, she enjoyed monthly outings with the friends she had worked with, the “Bay Luncheon” was something she always looked forward to. Road trips to the casino with her friends certainly made for some great times for her. Betty was only at Sherbrooke for a few months prior to her passing. We would like to thank the staff on the 2nd floor neighbourhood for their kindness and care. There will be no funeral service. Memorial donations may be directed to the animal rescue of your choice.
