Margaret Anne Peggy Duncan 1942 2021

Duncan, Margaret Anne “Peggy” – 79, of
Truro passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in the Colchester East
Hants Health Centre, surrounded by her family. Born in
Truro, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Doris (Ferris)
Yuill.
Early in her career, Peggy owned and operated three locations
of Peggy’s Place Ladies Boutique. Later on in life
she cared for her grandmother for many years in the family
home. Peggy enjoyed camping and boating and loved having a glass of
wine and spending time with family and friends.
Peggy is survived by her common-law husband of 42 years,
Ellis Dinham; sons, Jeff (Tanya) Duncan, Greg (Valerie) Duncan, both
of Truro; brother, Warren (Stella) Yuill, Tatamagouche; cousin,
Charles Richard (Carla) Hepburn, Truro; several nieces and
nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro where a funeral service
will be held 1 pm Tuesday, September 14, 2021, Reverend Lori Ramsey
officiating. Interment to follow in Robie Street Cemetery.
(Due to Covid-19 restrictions, seating is limited and
you must pre-register to attend the funeral service by calling
902-893-3177; thank you for your cooperation and
understanding. If so desired, donations in
Peggy’s memory to Alzheimer’s Society of Nova
