Dynes; Margaret Ann (nee Allen)
Margaret passed away peacefully due to the COVID virus at Roberta Place, Barrie, on Saturday, January 23rd, 2021 in her 84th year. Margaret Dynes, beloved wife of the late Warren Maloney. Loving mother of Patricia ( Mark) Fergusson, Kelleann Maloney and the late Delmar Dynes. Loved grandmother of Lyndsey Booth (Chazz Okparanta), Kyle Booth (Rachel), Joshua Booth, Travis Booth, Dylan Booth (Melanie Parsons) and her 9 great grandchildren. Dear sister of 9 sisters and brothers. Margaret started out in Galway, which was a small community outside of Kinmount. It was called this because they were originally from Galway, Ireland. She was very proud of her Irish culture and visited the Irish Club for get together’s later in life. She moved to Toronto and became the secretary to the Vice President of a large car manufacturing company. Margaret later ran and owned a bustling restaurant and still later she became a nurse after graduating from Georgian College, all while working and raising three children. She then moved to Florida and owned quite a few rentals, later becoming a real estate agent. She all so went back to college and earned another degree. Mom enjoyed traveling and went to quite a few places in Europe. She also enjoyed ball room dancing and tennis. She was one of the most hard working, energetic and the most amazing person I ever met. A Funeral Service will be held in the spring at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia. Interment at that time in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Orillia.
