Obituary of Malcolm Bradbury
Finally finding peace, Malcolm Bradbury, age 74, passed at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear, on Saturday, August 7, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Leaving with fond memories to his devoted wife of 47 years, Marjorie; two daughters: Nancy (Corey) and Heather; as well as his two grandsons, whom he treasured with all of his heart: Lucas and Jaxon; also leaving memories to special nephew: Mike (Linda); special niece: Marlene (Edsel); nephew: Terry (Connie); sisters-in-law: Harriet, Karen (Jerry), Debbie (Carlson), Faye (Bob); brother-in-law: Bill (Debbie); as well as many nieces, nephews, especially those in Labrador, and special friends.
Malcolm was born in Bay Roberts in 1946, he is predeceased by his parents: Raymond and Martha; brother: Munden (Ruby); sister: Florence; parents-in-law: Bill and Ruby Joyce.
Malcolm was a hard worker but loved a good joke. He worked at the IOC mine in Labrador City for over 30 years and made lots of friends to whom he was known to as “the sucka!” His passion for gardening made for travels with him and his wife for judging gardens with Tidy Towns. Something they both enjoyed.
Many thanks to the staff of 1 south LTC, especially the few that became our extended family, Dr. Becker, Margo, and Kim.
Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, August 10 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. There will be no funeral service.
