  1. Malcolm was a fine human being who gave of himself generously. I am Malcolm’s neighbour and I will never forget that shortly after I moved in I was clearing brush behind my home, which is a sweaty dirty job at the best of times, when Malcolm, whom I’d never met, came by and offered to help.
On another occasion, a raft which I had moored in the lake across from our homes, broke free and drifted to the far side of the lake. Its retrieval was a job that as a 70 year old I was dreading. One morning I woke up to find Malcolm had towed the raft back for me with his canoe.
These were just my own experiences with this young man but I’m sure others can speak of times where he went over and above to help. His passing was a great shock that stunned us deeply. We feel privileged to have know Malcolm and will never forget him. I love you man.
