Obituary of Maizie Margaret Ann Hawthorne
Maizie has left us at the age of 100 to join her husband Bob, her children, Garry, Faye Pickering, Ron, Brian (late Caroline), Murney and Ray and her brothers Red and Vince. Left to miss her are her sons Terry and Tim and her daughter Margaret (Clayton Eady), her daughters in law Chris and Laurel and son in law Garry Pickering. She will be fondly remembered by her special former daughters in law Susan Hicks and Shari Alguire and her brothers Moe and Don. She leaves her grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren with many happy memories and she held a special place in the hearts of her nieces, nephews and their spouses. It is impossible to mention the numerous members of the staff of Groves Park Lodge who made her last three years comfortable, cared for and loved.
Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St., S, Renfrew on Thursday March 18th from 1-3pm. A private Liturgy of the Word will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home.
