Obituary of Mae Sloan
Passed away peacefully on Saturday July 24, 2021 in her 70th year. Predeceased by her parents Mervin and Lorraine Sloan and by her brothers Bernard and Harold Sloan. Sadly missed by her brothers and sisters Anne (Richard) Mayer, Claire Gilligan, Gerald (Joanne) Sloan, Harry (Patty) Sloan, Robert Sloan, Joan (Robert) Mayer and Diane Sloan-Twomey (Sean Poeta). Also survived by her sisters-in-law, Jane Sloan and Pauline Sloan. Born and raised in Mattawa, many will remember Mae for her 40 years of nursing in the North Bay area. At Mae’s request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Martyn Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice for the kind and caring attention they offered Mae during her stay.
