Obituary of Madeline Ruby Boyko
BOYKO, Madeline:
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Ruby Madeline Boyko at the age of 92 on Saturday, December 25, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late John Boyko. Dear mother of Pat Joyner (Earl), Bev Mataseje (Tony), Jackie Gollwitzer (David), Janet Reburn (Dave), Gail Boyko, Gary Boyko (Linda), Don Boyko (Sharon), Debbie Boyko (Gary), and Daryl Boyko (Cheryl). Loving grandmother of Jennifer, Jonathan, Bryan, Bradley, Amanda, Brittany, Travis, Connor and Adam, and great-grandmother of Tia, Jayden, Kayley, Harper and the late Aubrey. Special cousin to Maureen and Jerry Winchester, dear sister-in-law to Anne Smilsky (the late Myron), and Martin and Ferne Boyko. Predeceased by in-laws Helen and George Herechuck, and her parents Edward and Gladys Farrell. The family will receive friends for visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday, December 30 from 6-8 p.m. with masks and social distancing required. Private family funeral service with interment at Zion Cemetery, Caistor Centre. If desired memorial donations to The Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the staff of Kilean Lodge for their special care of Madeline.
