C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous faisons part du décès de Madame Madeleine Sears (née Danis) survenu le 9 décembre, 2021.
Épouse de feu Ralph Sears, elle avait survécu à la perte de son fils James. Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille Natalie (Gerald Wnek) et son fils David (Maaike Sears), ainsi que ses quatre petits-enfants – Erika, James, Katherine, et Gabriel.
Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil ses frères Jean-Marie Danis et Frère Robert Danis, s.c., sa sœur Marielle (Gérard Larocque), et ses belles-sœurs Lucie Danis et Cécile Sears.
Suite à la perte de son mari Ralph, Madeleine a fait preuve d’un dévouement extraordinaire envers ses trois enfants et son amour pour ses petits-enfants était exprimé jusqu’à ses derniers moments.
La famille recevra les condoléances au Complexe Funéraire Yves Légaré au 7200 Boul. Newman à Ville LaSalle vendredi le 17 décembre de 13h à 16h et de 19h à 21h.
Une messe aura lieu à la chapelle du même complexe funéraire samedi le 18 décembre à 10 h.

The family of Madeleine Sears (née Danis) sadly announce her passing on December 9, 2021.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Ralph and cherished son James, she is survived by her daughter Natalie (Gerald Wnek) and son David (Maaike Sears), as well as her four grandchildren – Erika, James, Katherine, and Gabriel.
She is also survived by her brothers Jean-Marie Danis and Frère Robert Danis, s.c., her sister Marielle (Gérard Larocque), as well as her sisters-in-law Lucie Danis and Cécile Sears.
Steadfast in her dedication to raising her three children after the loss of Ralph, Madeleine remained devoted to her adored grandchildren until her very last moments.
Visitation will take place at the Complexe Funéraire Yves Légaré/Alfred Dallaire at 7200 Newman Blvd. in LaSalle on Friday December 17th from 1 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm.
A mass will take place in the chapel of the same funeral complex on Saturday December 18th at 10:00 am.

    Please accept my condolences on the passing of a great woman.

    Ma tante Madeleine was a strong and happy woman. With the losses in her life, she was capable to carry on with her life.

    Sorry I will not be able to attend the service because of this pandemic. I do hope to possibly make my way to Montreal after the restrictions can be lifted. We could get together as a family and remember this fabulous ma tante.

    I will miss her dearly.
