August 23, 1942 – December 22, 2021
Lydia passed away peacefully on December 22, 2021 at the Etobicoke General Hospital at the age of 79.
Born in Bathurst NB, she was the daughter of the late Allie and Amanda (Pitre) Lavigne.
She had a passion for reading, word search puzzles and completing jigsaw puzzles with her daughters.
She is survived by her children: Cathy (Milan) and Laurie (Paul)
Cherished Nana of Shannon (Greig), Raymond and Stephen and Geet Nana to her munchkin Chloe.
She is also survived by her siblings Florence, Evangeline, Martina, Marjorie, Brian (Susan) and Blair.
Several cherished nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence and son Larry. Also her siblings Jarvis, Theodore, Irene and Anita.
The family would like to thank her doctor’s, Dr’s Paul Wang and Dr Mark Varkul who have provided her with such amazing care for the past several years .
As per Lydia’s request, cremation has taken place. She will be taken to New Brunswick where she will be laid to rest.
