Luther Arnold Till 1935 2021

With sad hearts, the family of Luther Arnold Freeman Till of
Geary, NB, announce his passing on December 21, 2021 at the Dr Everett
Chalmers Hospital due to complications from a fall. He was
86 years old. Luther was born in Fredericton, NB on March
20, 1935, son of the late Elzor F. and Vida J. (Smith)
Till.
Luther was a devote Christian and Baptist by faith and was a
faithful member of the Geary Baptist Church. Luther’s
working career was with NB Power as a Draftsman.
Luther was married to the love of his life, Sybil Till, who
will miss him dearly. Together they raised two amazing daughters,
Andrea Till (Marty Kolodka) of Sooke, BC and Catherine Neild (Robert)
of Fredericton. His grandson Isaac Neild of Fredericton was his pride
and joy. Luther is also survived by sisters-in-law, Joan Till of Geary
and Frances Dupuis (Charles) of Grand Bay-Westfield and
brothers-in-law, David Grant (Dorothy) of Musquash and Richard Grant
of Saint John; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Luther was
the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Luther was predeceased by his parents; an infant daughter,
Patricia Edna Till and a brother Zenlo Till.
Luther requested no visitation hours, however, relatives and
friends are welcome to join the family at graveside committal service
to be held at the Preston Carr Cemetery, Geary, NB at a later
date.
As an alternative to flowers, Luther requested that memorial
contributions be made to the Geary Baptist Church, 668 Broad Road,
Geary, NB E2V 3W6 or
