Moncton, NB – Mrs. Lucille Dunn, 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 1st, 2021 at the Dr. George -L.- Dumont University Hospital Centre of Moncton, NB.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Gérald McCaie and the late Émilia McCaie, born Daigle.
Lucille loved canoeing, was an avid bowler and wouldn’t dare miss any curling bonspiels on TV! Her husband David, herself and several others, have traveled a lot, Lucille was very eager to go on a trip every year. She worked in hospital laboratories in the Campbellton area as a laboratory technician for 37 years until her retirement in 2002.
Lucille will be sadly missed by her husband, David Dunn of Moncton and her dear beloved Teddy (a 2 year old cocker spaniel) who is looking everywhere for her; three sisters, Corinne Mallais (Gérard) of Moncton, Louise McCaie of Saint John and Lynne Léger (Michael) of Ottawa; two brothers-in-law, Raymond Dunn (Arlene) of Edmonton and Paul Dunn of Saint John; three sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Melanson (Tom) of Saint John, Carol Dunn of Rothesay and Eileen Dunn of Montreal; as well as her only nephew from the McCaie family (Zacharie of Ottawa), many cousins, and several nieces and nephews from the Dunn family.
Besides her parents, Lucille was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Robert Dunn.
Visitations will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel (625, Mountain Road) on Sunday, November 7th, 2021, from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm. Visitation will keep going on Monday, November 8th, 2021 from 9h30am to 10h30am followed by the Funeral service at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce RC Church in Moncton at 11am. Due to the restrictions related to the current pandemic, double vaccination and wearing a mask will be mandatory and required at the entrance of the funeral home and church.

    C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous avons appris le décès de Lucille. Ce n’est pas facile de perdre une personne si précieuse dans votre vie, et nous espérons que le temps sera estomper votre peine. Nos souvenirs de Lucille lors de nos visites au Nouveau-Brunswick, sont que de belles échanges et de rire. Lucille nous laisse la mémoire de son beau sourire radieux.
