Louise Pickles December 8 2021

Pickles, Louise – It is with deep sadness and much love that we mourn the peaceful passing on December 8, 2021 of Louise Pickles of Gaetz Brook, at the age of 80 years. From Mushaboom, she was the daughter of the late Ansel and Violet (Boutilier) Lawlor.
Louise was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She is predeceased by her husband, Murray Pickles; and one sister. She is survived by her daughter, Ada (Darren) Conrod; grandchildren, Rachel (Alex) and Evan (Emily); great- grandson, James; seven sisters and one brother.
Louise enjoyed listening to music, her weekly shopping trips with her sisters, reading stories with her great grandson, watching the birds outside her window, and winning the jackpot at Bingo. She always had a sunny outlook on life and a big heart. She greatly enjoyed knitting gifts for those she loved.
The family wishes to send a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful nurses and staff at Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour for their compassionate care.
Donations may be made in memory of Louise to Heart and Stroke Foundation, as she was the second person in Nova Scotia to have open heart surgery.
A Memoriam will be held at a later date.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
