Louise-Annette Laidlaw
It is with great sadness that I announce on May 16, 2021 that Louise-Annette Laidlaw entered in the care of our Heavenly Father. She was a wonderful wife to Brian for almost 55 years. She also leaves behind her beloved brother Joe (Linda) Maggio and nieces and nephews, Darin, and Gregory Maggio, Tracy (Mike) Weston Tanya (Brad) Clarke, and Daren (Monica Woodbyrne) MacDonald. She was a great teacher who loved her students like her family and they loved her in return. She was also an excellent coach in Track, and Tennis. Her teaching career spanned 55 years in High Schools from Orillia, Dunnville, Hamilton, and Cayuga. She was a ferocious competition on the tennis court and also an excellent shot as a member of the Caledonia Rifle Club. She was also an accomplished cook and baker drumming up treats for friends and the less fortunate. Also many of her secret recipes will remain secret. A private family service will be held at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes (2020) Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Wednesday May 19, 2021 followed by interment at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Caledonia. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation. www.rhbanderson.com
