Obituary of Lorraine Lucy Baker
It is with great sadness the family of the Late Lorraine Lucy Baker of Little Burnt Bay announce her passing on Monday, March 22, 2021 at North Haven Manor, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 76 years. She was the daughter of the Late Edmond and Elsie Pelley.
Leaving to cherish her memory are her husband Larry; six children Kevin, Morris (Dena), Wayne (Joy), Guy (Deborah), Rick (Cynthia) and Lawrence; grandchildren: Jason (Vanessa), Ryan (Krystal), Tyler (Christina), Natasha (Mitchell), Zander, Ashley (David) Kentie, Andrew (Jillian), Philip (Andrea) Warr, Brandon (Jessica), Lucas (Hilary); great grandchildren: Jersey-Lynn, Kegan, Kyran, Zack, Zoey, Rowan, Liam, Ben, Jack, Hudson and Levi.
As well her brothers and sisters, Lloyd (Irene) Pelley, Joan (Wayne) Pelley, Pearl Elliott, Charles (Dulcie) Pelley, Carrie (Mervin) Wells, Hilda (Derek) Moyles, Ralph (Irene) Pelley and sister-in-law Betty . Many nieces and nephews’ other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her parents in law Levi and Daisy Baker and step father-in-law Harry Hynes, sister Alletta (Willis) Pelley, brothers, Pearce (Marie), Hollis, and brother-in law Sam Elliott.
Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte with visitation on Wednesday from 6-8 pm (Following Covid Regulations and Guidelines). Funeral service will take place on Thursday at 1 pm from the Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle in Little Burnt Bay by invitation only. Interment will follow at the Community Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted.
