Lorraine Auger (Vaillancourt)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Health Sciences North Hospital in Sudbury on Tuesday, August 24th, 2021 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of 59 years of Georges Auger. Loving mother of Lise Auger (Sean McCormick), Diane Auger (Dave Hood) and Paul Auger (Wendy Plouffe). Cherished grandmother of Gord, Tess, Austen (Hailey), Devon (Katerina), Justin (Heidi) and Austin (Natalie). Proud great grand-mother of Lily, Theodore and Remi. Dear sister of Maurice (Cathy), Ray (late Corrine) and Jon (Susan). Lorraine will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful, longtime friends. She is predeceased by her parents Laurent and Georgette Vaillancourt.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a scheduled visitation and chapel service will take place on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Any person wishing to attend the visitation or the funeral service MUST call the funeral home (705-264-4444) between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to schedule an appointment. Remembrance donations to the Daffodil Terrace Lodge – Sudbury would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
