Lorne Morris Dubeau
1928 ~ 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lorne, who died peacefully on May 18, one day after his 93rd birthday. Lorne will be dearly missed by Rita, his wife of 74 years. Born in Penetanguishene, May 17, 1928, he was the last surviving child of 12 siblings. At a young age he moved to Toronto and prospered. He met Rita while working at St. Mike’s Hospital, as paper boy; they fell in love and at a young age were married. Together they had nine children, losing 2 as babies and raising 7. Their oldest child Carol Anne passed away earlier this year.
Lorne, a successful entrepreneur, started with owning dump trucks before moving on to a fleet of taxis and later a restaurant.
He will be missed. A loving husband, caring father, good provider, and loyal friend.
Donations to the Canadian Transplant Association www.canadiantransplant.com , in remembrance of Carol Anne, are greatly appreciated.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 1:30 pm. To view the Funeral Mass, please click on the link below.

Deepest condolences, you have lost 2 wonderful people this year. May God give you strength. I have wonderful memories of Uncle Lorne and the good times we had together. We had great times together at the racetrack, having a beer when we lost and going to Michelle’s for dinner when we won.
Rest in peace dear Lorne
