Loretta O’Link Tuesday March 9th 2021

In loving memory of Loretta Mary (nee Benard) O’Link 93 years old who is now home embraced in God’s loving arms on March 9th, 2021 at the Elizabeth Center, Val Caron. Loving wife of Raymond (predeceased) and mother of 8 children Patrick (Cindy), Rita (Phyllis), Roseanna (Eric Talbot), Lynne (Dan Berube), Jane (Berney Simard), Jerry (Daniella), Jimmy (Cobi) and Wayne (Pierrette), 23 Grandchildren and 30 Great grandchildren. Born in Rossport, Ontario, and married Raymond, raised their family on their farm in Chelmsford. Loretta was one of the women who worked at Inco’s Smelter during World War II. She was an avid bowler in her youth, was a member of the CWL, and the Van Gran of Onaping Falls/Rayside Balfour Art Club. Her radiant smile captivated your attention and was famous for her delicious date squares, lemon pies and rice krispies squares. The family would like to thank the staff at the Elizabeth Center for their compassionate care and love throughout our Mother’s stay. They are truly angels caring for our loved ones. With Loretta’s wishes there will be no visitation but a celebration of life service will be held at a later date after COVID restrictions have been lifted. Arrangements entrusted with Sudbury Parklawn Cremation Services. In lieu of flowers donation to our local food bank would be appreciated.
