With profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Lorenzo, at St. Joseph’s Hospital on March 13, 2021 in his 77th year. Son of the late Francesco and Rosalia Curto. Brother of Charlie Curto (Natasja) and the late Maria Curto. Survived by his Aunt, Rosa Curto. He will be missed dearly by cousins Frank Curto (Connie), Sam Tinebra (Filomena), Enza Polidoro (John) as well as many cousins throughout Canada, Italy, US, and Belgium. Larry was a proud member of Liuna Local 837 for over 50 years, during this time he served the Union on the Executive Board. He was an avid soccer fan, following his beloved AC Milan. Larry will be remembered for his devotion and love for spending time with his family and as well as travelling to Mexico. Special thanks to St. Joseph’s Hospital nephrology unit, his family Doctor Michael Savatteri and all PSW’s for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East, on Wednesday, March 17th from 3:00p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Due to covid19 restrictions, it is required that you RSVP individually for both Visitation and Funeral Mass this can be found at www.friscolanti.com under Lorenzo’s Obituary. Funeral Mass will be offered at All Souls Church on Thursday March 18th, 2021 at 10:00a.m. All guests must wear a mask and practice social distancing. Entombment with limited attendance to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington. In lieu of flowers, a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
