Obituary of Lolita Del Carmen Martinez
It is with heavy hearts that our family come together to send our Lolita on her journey to be with our loved ones in the spirit world.
Lolita is predeceased by her Son Rico, Mother Laura Pinay, maternal grandparents Edward and Elizabeth Pinay, her paternal grandfather Jose Martinez, Uncle Barry, Aunty Anne and Paula Pinay.
Lolita is survived by her children, Lanaya, Carlos, and Miguel, her father Victor Martinez, Grandmother Carmen Martinez, Sisters Sarah and Skye Pinay, brothers Terry, Alex (Skye), Andrew Pinay and Christian Martinez. Her Aunt Arlene (Breeze), Uncles Niel (Donna), Percy (Lillian), Blaine (Maureen), David Pinay, Oscar, Hector, Marcos and Hojose Martinez, numerous cousins/relatives.
Lolita had many life challenges after her mother had passed away in 2014, and she had fought hard to recover, yet she always had her children whom she loved so much to continue that hope. She was suddenly stricken with breast cancer in December of 2020, she fought it with all her might, however, succumbed to it.
Lolita will never be forgotten for her beauty, gorgeous smile, laughter, friendship, and most of all the love for her children. Many thanks to the palliative care unit at the St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon.
